Even though Fall is a beautiful time of year, stress can fall upon us like the leaves.  With all of the holidays wrapped into a cozy little 2-3 month package, the brain is turning and that may set your stomach a churning!

Pace yourself and try to plan ahead for some gut-friendly meals.  If you are hosting a get together, make foods you know will agree with you.  If you are invited to a gathering, kindly explain to the host/hostess that you have dietary restrictions and that they aren’t to be offended if you don’t eat everything that they have to offer.  This would also be a good opportunity to share yummy recipes with family and friends.  It may also be an occasion that you would need to resort to a “brown Bag” meal for yourself.

As always, do some research and call your physicians office with any meal or health concerns you may have!


2 C Flour

4 tsp baking powder

2 Tbs sugar

2 C water

1/2 C cinnamon applesauce

1/4 tsp. vanilla

*For waffles, add 3 Tbs of vegetable oil.


1 8 oz package of cream cheese

1-2 Tbs worcestershire sauce (to taste)

1 8 oz can of tuna

*You can substitute salmon.  Mix and refrigerate overnight.
