Regional Gi Sponsors New A. Herr Dream Park

Regional Gi is a proud sponsor of the new A. Herr Dream Park located in East Hempfield Township, Pennsylvania. A multi-phase project, the playground will be completed in two phases including September 9th through 11th and September 27th through October 2nd.

The playground is a one-of-a-kind, custom design project based upon ideas contributed by children within the community. A full list of playground components is available here. Additionally, the playground will feature a ⅓ mile walking trail. Thanks to a $175,00 grant awarded by the Department of Conservation and National Resources (DCNR), East Hempfield Township has exceeded their fundraising goal of $485,000.

Volunteers are still needed! Many tasks require no special skills — only a willing heart! There are a wonderful variety of opportunities for all ages and community organizations.

Regional Gi Attends 2016 Health & Fitness Expo at Willow Valley Communities

Regional Gi proudly attended the 2016 Health & Fitness Expo at Willow Valley Communities, June 7th.

“This day is to celebrate adult health and fitness. The focus of this fun-filled event is to encourage adults to engage in activities to maintain or improve their health,” says Willow Valley Communities.

Colin Milner, CEO of the International Council of Active Aging was this year’s keynote speaker. His valuable presentation looked at how the growing body of aging research is changing the expectations of what is possible over the life course.

Regional Gi’s “Colon Crusaders” sponsored and attended the 2015 Relay for Life Lancaster at Conestoga Valley High School, Friday, June 12.

“At Regional Gi,  our main focus is patient care,” started Jim Wilson, Director, Business Services. “We participate in Relay for Life to help support our patients who are battling cancer and to honor those who lost their battle with cancer. Many of our staff have lost friends and family to this terrible disease. At Regional Gi, we want to continue to do what we can to put an end to cancer. Everyone can do their part by getting a screening colonoscopy and passing this message along to others!”

Lancaster Senior Games, Celebrating 25 years!

Regional Gi is proud to be sponsoring the 2013 Lancaster Senior Games next week June 10th-14th at Franklin & Marshall College. Stated in 1989 The Senior games offer Olympic style events for Lancaster County Seniors 55 yrs and older.

Celebrating 25 years of exercising body, mind and spirit, the games average over 850 participants each year and are open to Lancaster County residents.
